LORENA HOCKRIDGE, RN

CLINIC OWNER

Lorena Hockridge is a Registered Nurse, Advanced Certified Aesthetic Injector, ZO Skin Care Expert, and owner of LH.LuxeAesthetics in San Angelo, TX.

After moving to Dallas from her home in Romania, Lorena worked her way through school to obtain her Associates Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She began her nursing career working in the Trauma and Burn ICU caring for critically injured patients during which she received a deep understanding and appreciation of skin health in response to trauma and burns. She later transitioned to general ICU care after moving to San Angelo. In 2023, she decided to follow her passion in aesthetics and obtained certification as a Nurse Injector from the prestigious National Laser Institute in Dallas.

Lorena holds a strong belief that aesthetics can and should enhance each person’s natural beauty to instill more confidence and improve self-esteem. She does this with a thoughtful approach, incorporating the newest scientific research, products and techniques combined with an artistic eye for symmetry, balance, and proportion. Lorena prides herself on continuous education in the aesthetics field in order to provide her clients with wonderful results and also loves to share her knowledge with her clients to formulate a plan for fantastic long-term results.

DAVID HOCKRIDGE, MD

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Hockridge grew up in Dallas, TX before heading to South Bend, IN where he attended the University of Notre Dame and completed his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Studies with Honors in 2010. While at Notre Dame, he also served as a Student Manager of the Notre Dame Football and Women's Tennis teams and received a substantial scholarship for his efforts. He then returned to Texas and completed a 1-year Masters of Science in Medical Science at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He moved to San Antonio where he completed his Medical Doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio (now UT Health San Antonio) in 2015. Wishing to pursue a career in General Surgery, he stayed on at his home program to complete his 5-year residency where he earned multiple honors, including the Heritage Award for Outstanding Performance in Transplant Surgery as well as the Award for Outstanding Resident Teaching. Having received extensive and excellent training in a broad scope of general surgical fields, he knew he wanted to start a practice away from the big city and decided to join the General Surgery department at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo. In addition to his successful General Surgery practice, he and Lorena started LH.LuxeAesthetics in 2023 and has been serving as its Medical Director since then.
